The Jet Set Radio series is one of those retro titles that I believe every gamer should have in their collection. Since its re-release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3; it brought back so many memories from when I first played on the Sega Dreamcast. In that please check out these images of the upcoming Beat figure from Jet Set Radio.
Jet Set Radio brought gamers into the vibrant world of in-line skater and graffiti artist Beat and his crew of rudies in 2000. Our portrayal of Beat stands 14 inches tall (1/6 scale), and in that unique and loose cel-shaded style that gave the original games so much identity. Beat is grinding along one of Tokyo-To’s many beams on his in-line skates, causing the sparks to fly. To truly bring the piece to life, these sparks also flash and flicker, through use of LEDs installed in the base. We have added other features to the base such as a faux-grass to add to the scene.
The pre-order for the Beat figure is happening now, but you have to head on over to First 4 Figures which can be yours for $229.99. This is definitely for true Sega collectors out there. The Beat figure will be released in the second quarter of 2015. I hope you enjoyed this preview and check back for more information on the latest toys.
